For Nauticus in Norfolk, VA, I partnered with exhibit design agency Roto to redesign a section of the museum with a large-scale port map mural and a directory map for the lobby and elevators. The mural needed to be highly detailed and accurate, while still guiding visitors to the most important landmarks at a glance. I built a clear visual hierarchy, highlighting key sites with bold color and outlines while keeping supporting detail quieter, and delivered files sized and structured for fabrication and installation.
